I like to look after mine. Ever since an opthalmist admonished me for cleaning my glasses on my sweater ("It's cashmere," I countered, but it turns out even the softest wools contain fibres that scratch), I use the cloth provided or, if that disappears, as it always does, a silk scarf.
I take only one pair on holiday - at a pinch, two - as I've found this makes me look after them more diligently than if I've packed three or four.
So that's about the 10th thing your sunnies should do: enable you to psychoanalyse yourself. Treat them with love.
