It-girls such as Kate Moss, Pixie Geldof, Pink, Lady Gaga, and even a then 13-year-old Tavi Gevinson have all dared to go gray long before their hair follicles turned that way naturally.
Fashion designers like Gareth Pugh, Karl Lagerfeld, and Jean Paul Gaultier have all sent models down the runway sporting pale-gray tresses. Most recently, 27 year-old Kelly Osbourne debuted lavender-gray locks at the People’s Choice Awards in January (a look she’d already played with in 2010)
She then finished by contouring the cheeks with darker toms shoes clearance shades of the NYX Cosmetics Stay Matte but not Flat Powder Foundation. The completed look was glam, yet fabulously feminine.
For the lips, she wanted to create a unique take on the bold lip. She combined the NYX Cosmetics Retractable Lip Liner in Plum with the NYX Cosmetics Matte Lipstick in Alabama to give a matte, two-toned effect. The edges were then blurred to really complete the modern 70’s look of the face.
Hair stylist Cesar Ramirez drew upon Gallagher’s “Silent Soil” idea. “The look for the season is all about this organic woman, almost in an isolated Norse feminine world, and all her self-expression and power comes from her connection to the earth.” Ramirez created shapes reminiscent of the forms found in the woods

“When you have something like fashion it’s hard toms slip on shoes for people to justify spending that amount of money to come and watch one of the shows,” Achampong said.
“When you have that charity aspect mixed with fashion it makes it a lot more accessible to people and gives them a reason to actually come out.”
Changing locations every season offers residents and tourists a chance to see some of Ottawa’s most architecturally interesting buildings, similar to Doors Open Ottawa, Achampong said.
